Super Visa
A super visa allows foreign nationals to visit their children and grandchildren. With a Super visa, the foreign national is allowed to stay up to 5 years at a time. The visa usually provides you with multiple entries over a ten-year period.
Eligibility
To be eligible for a super visa, you must
- Be a parent or grandparent of a Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada
- Signed invitation letter from your child or grandchild
- Proof of private medical insurance from a Canadian insurance company with minimum coverage of $100,000
